Words into Action

Our seven UU principles are more than affirmations of our beliefs. They are a call to action. They call us to enact change in the world so all people can realize their “inherent worth and dignity.” Specifically, our principles call us to use “the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large” to create those changes. Now, perhaps more than ever, when progress in so many areas of social justice are under attack, it is vital that UUs fully engage in the democratic process to protect the progress we have made and to continue advancing for change.
