Our St. John’s UU Sanctuary and Immigration Team (SIT) meets on the second Wednesday of the
month at 7 p.m. by Zoom. The next meeting is July 13. SIT has been meeting for five years and has assisted our immigrant neighbors in many important ways. We have sponsored asylees who have been in sanctuary at the Clifton United Methodist Church (with whom we partner), have collected food, clothing and other important items from our St. John’s members and friends, and have hosted our immigrant neighbor for an evening of good food (Dec. 2019 photo below) and conversation, contributed financially to various immigrant needs. Several members of St. John’s distribute food contributions through the Willows Project, with which we are associated. We are members of the Cincinnati Immigrant Dignity Coalition, https://ijpccincinnati.org/immigrant-dignity-coalition/, and are involved with community organizations in our Cincinnati area, Butler County and Northern Kentucky. Join us to discover the many things that we do.

Visit us, come to observe, or find a niche for yourself.  For information, contact: Sarah Loar Seibert, SIT coordinator at seibertcs@zoomtown.com.
