Braver Angels — June 2 Men’s Group Potluck Program
Formed after the 2016 election to bridge the partisan divide, the volunteer-led Braver Angels promotes community gatherings, debates, and grassroots leaders working together.
For the Men’s Group Sunday, June 2, program at 7 p.m., Cincinnati member Rich Overturf will explain what Braver Angels has been up to locally and nationally to strengthen our democracy. All are welcome. For the 6 p.m. potluck, in addition to bringing food to share, all those dining are asked to also bring their own dishware, utensils and beverage.

You can help people learn about Unitarian Universalism at the UU Booth! It’s a lot of fun working a shift at the booth, talking with people, handing out information, and watching the crowd.
Use this Sign-up Genius to help. Set up and break down is especially needed help. Thanks!
Think about volunteering in July when we host Found House guests
Four unhoused families with children, clients of Found House/IHN, will be our guests at SJUU July 7-14. Can you provide supper, play with the kids, lead a craft or manicure party, or stay overnight? This is one of our major service projects, with many ways to help. If you are new to St. John’s or unfamiliar with Found House, stop by the “Ask Me About Found House” table in the lobby after worship. Found House team members can tell you more about the program and suggest ways to get involved (for example, bringing a pan of brownies and staying to wash dishes or assisting with games but not being in charge). Or contact Wanda Crawford, our coordinator.
