Our nation is at a point of moral crisis. We are hurting children, baiting war, and becoming more intolerant of each other.

I put forth that this is not who America was made to be. Yes, our history is built on enslavement, genocide, and militarization, but we are capable of being better than we are or have been.

This Sunday we ask that you– yes, YOU– look for quotes, poems, readings, that inspire you to love the promise of America. Bring them to church and we will share our hopes in the hope that we will be inspired to work to be the nation where all people are equal and equipped to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.
