What does it mean to have pride when your very being is under attack?
Rev. Duncan Teague, an Affiliated Community Minister for the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Atlanta, dreamed and planted the Abundant Love Unitarian Universalist (UU) Congregation in Atlanta’s West End community. Abundant LUUv is committed to continuing the work of healing communities in the UU and Black church tradition.
Rev. Teague is also employed by Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health assisting with research to inform faith-based projects in Global Health department doing HIV/AIDS anti-stigma work. He has also served a term on the UU Ministers’ Association’s Committee on Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, and Multiculturalism (CARAOM). This year he received a proclamation honoring his work by the Atlanta City Council. In the 2017 legislative session of the State of Georgia House of Representatives, House Resolution #290 commend him for his many years of HIV/AIDS work.
