The December Split the Plate recipient is The Emergency Shelter of Norther Kentucky, whose mission is to provide life-saving and life-changing low barrier shelter and services for adults in our community.

ESNKY relies on volunteers who provide time and materials as well as financial contributions.  Volunteers can sign up for morning shifts to serve breakfast and/or start laundry, in the afternoon for cleaning and restocking, as well as evenings and weekends to assist guests with dinner or other needed help.

The shelter updates a “We Wish Wednesday” for everyday items.  Please consider donating items such as men’s underwear, jeans, coffee, creamer, sugar, Kroger, Remke and Walmart gift cards, hand warmers, blankets, new boots or tennis shoes, backpacks or drawstring bags.
