WHO: Anyone! Adults and kids are welcome. Childcare is available with prior notice (email auction@stjohnsuu.org).
WHERE: St John’s UU Church, 320 Resor Ave.

WHY: This event is about community! It raises money, yes. But it is about community and connecting. Not just at the event (which is a blast!) but throughout the year with events or services won at the auction.

Enjoy refreshments, live auction and silent auctions, the company of all who come. It is THE place to be!  You’ll save $2 off the $12 registration if you pre-register online. (You’ll still pay at the door.)

Ideally, folks have sent in descriptions of their donations. Thanks. If you’re ready to drop off donations, you can stop by during office hours and place them, marked for auction, in the Nightengale Room downstairs. The auction team will also be at church the afternoon of April 30

We also need volunteers to organize one section of the day, help set up the day before, take down, etc. Whether you can give an hour or a day, please join the effort by signing up!

Areas where you can help: gift cards, decorations, children’s activities, refreshments, data entry, Sunday morning auction follow-up, thank yous.

Upcoming dates:

• May 5 – Evening set-up, starting at 5 p.m. Chairs, tables, decorations, placement of items.
• May 6 – the auction! From 2-6 p.m. Take down tables after that and replace sanctuary chairs.
• May 7 – un-bid items are available after service for bid/sale.
