Laure Quinlivan, Peabody Award-winning filmmaker and former Cincinnati Council
member, will screen her PBS documentary “Cincinnati LEEDs the Nation.”
This half-hour film tells the story of the amazing achievement by Cincinnati as first city in
the USA to build a Net Zero Energy police station, deeply engaging the community from
the beginning.
This film about District 3 Police Station is timely since taxpayers will soon be funding a
new District 5 station. Citizens must convince city leaders to follow the same model and
engage residents of Camp Washington, Clifton, CUF, Mt. Airy, College Hill and Northside
for the new District 5.
Watch the film about District 3 and you’ll understand why it’s so important. Consider
inviting your favorite council members to join you at our screening on Sat. Feb. 24!
We will have a post-film discussion with the filmmaker and police, including District 3
Captain Paul Broxterman and former D-3 Captain Aaron Jones.
