Centered On the Sun — Who will we be when the new day rises?

I recently read Jim Scott praising the “habitual sun and capricious rain” and thought of the many ways our lives are centered on the sun. From gentle waking in the morning to the hassle of “daylight savings time,” from the struggle when our work hours align with the moon to the joy of seasons changing, we are centered on the sun. In many ways, the same can be said of our faith. No matter what we believe, we share a common, embodied root made of the stuff of stars and destined to return to earth. Join us this Sunday when we explore who we are, and who we might be, when we center on the sun.
