The Outreach Committee solicits nominations by Dec. 1 from St. John’s member sponsors for financial grants and awards recognizing a local non-profit social justice organization’s work in active representation, advocacy, and/or service. In accord with the congregation’s 2016 initiative, the committee will give priority to organizations working for racial justice.  Outreach grants and awards range from $500 to $2,000. A sponsor must not receive any direct benefit from the award. Prior Outreach and split the plate recipients are eligible.

E-mail the complete application of no more than four pages to jkachuba@fuse.net or return a hard copy to the Outreach Committee mailbox in the church office by Dec. 1, 2018. Awards will be presented in Spring. Nominations forms are available in hardcopy in the Outreach Committee mailbox or can be downloaded from the St. John’s website.
