Lift Every Voice: The W. H. G. Carter story

This week’s sermon starts a three-part series on Rev. W. H.G. Carter, who founded the Church of the Unitarian Brotherhood in Cincinnati’s West End in 1918.

 The first Black Unitarian church in Cincinnati did not flourish. This is part of our story as Unitarians and in 2021 we are asked to reckon with its meaning and legacy.
