Keeping holy time

Until we’re able to meet in person, find services on our YouTube channel. Also, Rev. Mitra welcomes you to an Easter sunrise service.

On March 18th, the St. John’s board voted to suspend all church activities and all uses of the church building, which has since been extended to May 1st. This decision was made after lengthy deliberations focused on the heath and well-being of St John’s members, friends and guests in light of the presence of COVID-19 in both Kentucky and Ohio. The governor of Ohio has requested all events of more than 100 people be suspended until May; the board’s decision is consistent with this directive.

Please know that in this time of concern, that even though we will not be meeting in person, you are not alone. Please reach out to Rev. Mitra, your friends and your family to discuss concerns, needs or just make a human connection.

For now, St. John’s UU is hosting its services virtually.

By 9 a.m. each Sunday, (these will not show until then) you will find videos that make up each service on our new St. John’s Unitarian Universalist Church YouTube channel to which you can subscribe. (If you go to the site early, please refresh the site after 9 a.m. to see the new videos.)

Digital Coffee Hour

In addition to making the service available on YouTube, there will be a digital “coffee hour” on Sundays through Google Meet. You have to provide the snacks, but we will provide the human connection! Please check the eNews for information on attending the coffee hour.
