First in a 10-part cinematic event series that explores the fragility and wonder of the planet we call home.
Filmed across 45 countries, six continents and into outer space, ONE STRANGE ROCK is the extraordinary story of Earth – our curiously calibrated interconnected planet – and why it is special and uniquely brimming with life among a largely unknown but harsh cosmic arena.
Episodes take the audience from the microscopic to the cosmic, reveal the magical twists of fate that allowed life to emerge, and delve into monumental events such as cosmic violence, human intelligence, survival vs. destruction.
Academy Award-nominated actor Will Smith hosts the series produced by award-winning producer Jane Root and Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Darren Aronofsky.
