Guest at St. John’s Table

On Sunday, December 8th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. the St. John’s Sanctuary and Immigration Team (SIT) is hosting an event to welcome our immigrant refugees, asylees and other friends from Cincinnati and Northern Ky. to our church. We also plan to invite all the other UU societies in the area.

We will have a panel discussion with members of the immigrant community speaking. There will be questions and answers, time to eat together, socialize and dance (if we dare). We will be inviting other members of the interfaith and immigrant community organizations. We will be using the Sanctuary and Krolfifer.

$10 suggested donation

We need volunteers! We will need help especially in the area of setting up Krolfifer for eating and possible dancing, kitchen help, food contributions such as potluck items. We will also be purchasing some ethnic food dishes to serve. We need help with invitations, PR, decorating, etc. There are Teams at St. John’s whose missions might include activities such as these.

We want this to be a success and have an opportunity to come together with the immigrant community, the interfaith community and immigration activist and advocacy groups.

Please fill out a form here, https://tinyurl.com/StJohns-12-8-19, or contact me if you can volunteer for this special event at seibertcs@zoomtown.com.
