Plant-Based Foods: But What’s for Supper?

A Hands-on Suppertime Experience

Eating more plant-based foods in lieu of meat and dairy is a good way to personally reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact.

But changing our diet can be challenging! Come enjoy samples of vegan dishes, share recipes and cooking tips, and bring your questions and insights about ways we can eat better as we eat together.

PROGRAM:

6:30 – 7:15:  Sample plant-based dishes. You are invited to bring a favorite dish for our shared meal. We will have a booklet of vegan recipes and cooking tips to share with attendees. (Please send your contributions to Judy Strong judith_strong@yahoo.com)

7:15 – 7:45: “Eating Well on a Plant-Strong Diet,” presentation by Cincinnati nutritionist Preeti Bansal Kshirsagar MPH RDN LD, Integrative Nutrition & Healing

7:45: Discussion

Co-Sponsors: Woman’s City Club of Greater Cincinnati, League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area, Cincinnati Women’s Political Caucus, Citizens’ Climate Lobby,  St. John’s UU Green Sanctuary Partners
