The UUA recently made a commitment to take the lead as a faith denomination in addressing our history of upholding white supremacy. The goal is to collectively work to dismantle it and amend a long broken promise to the Black Lives within our Association. In this forum we will discuss the history of this promise, and the work that is currently being done through the UUA. What can St. John’s do to be a part of this promise and practice? How can we respond to the call to be “bold, radical, and transformational as we commit to nurture a radically inclusive, justice centered, multiracial and multigenerational religious faith”?  To learn more go to https://www.uua.org/giving/areas-support/funds/promise-and-practice.   The March split-plate will be for BLUU.
