Who We Are
St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church is a liberal religious community serving Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.
Our core commitment is to creating a safe and caring community, working for social justice, and celebrating beliefs that respect freedom of thought.
We sincerely appreciate the broad diversity of our members, friends and visitors. We're designated a "WELCOMING CONGREGATION" by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) - an indication of how we value our different racial, ethnic, and religious roots, our varied physical and economic abilities, and our diverse sexual orientation, gender and ages.
As a Member Congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association, we have pledged to affirm and promote:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person
- Justice, equity and compassion in human relations
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning
- The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
