Voices of Variety Youth Choir

At St. John's Voices of Variety Youth Choir, nothing goes together better than children and music! Since 1996, the children's choir, Voices of Variety, have presented an annual holiday concert and also sung on various occasions throughout the church year. St. John's youth often perform during the church services and on special youth Sundays. In addition, programs are being developed to enhance the youth music program at St. John's. Cultivating youth musicians is an important aspect of the overall music program at St. John's. The youth program is lead and developed by the Associate Music Director, Rachel Kramer.

Rachel Kramer has served as Associate Music Director since 1995. Rachel holds Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in piano performance from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Music in piano performance and pedagogy from The University of Michigan. From 1990-1996, Kramer served as the Manager of Educational Programs for the Baldwin Piano & Organ Co. in Cincinnati, and from 1998-2001 was the Assistant Executive Director at the Music Teachers National Association in Cincinnati. Currently, Rachel is President of Music Learning Center, Inc. and runs a teaching studio of more than 300 students, ages 6-months through 7th grade. She is also the accompanist for MUSE - Cincinnati's Women's Choir, the Martin Luther King Coalition Chorale and the Wilmington College Chorale.
