St. John’s is a partner with the Unitarian Church in Nyaradszentlaszlo, Romania. The Friends of Szentlaszlo work to strengthen that relationship, both between our two churches and our individual members.
The Friends support our Partner Church through fundraisers, including a Transylvania Dinner each March. Soup and Break lunches after Sunday worship are another popular fundraiser. We also travel to Transylvania regularly, and encourage communication and understanding between our members and the 150+ members of our partner congregation.
