St. John's

Since Hurricanes Katrina & Rita in 2005, members of St. John’s have made four trips to Louisiana to help with rebuilding.

In September 2007, a St. John’s Team worked beside the intrepid Jenga Mwendo, who was teaching herself to rehab her home in the Holy Cross neighborhood of New Orleans. Check out her blog to see how far she’s come and the variety of people who’ve worked with her. That’s us on the October 14, 2007 post.

In April 2008, a St. John’s Team worked in the Broadmoor area of New Orleans on a home selected by Rebuilding Together. Emeril himself ladled us some of his famous gumbo.
