The St. John’s Sanctuary and Immigration Team (SIT) formed last spring in response to St. John’s becoming a Solidarity Congregation in the Cincinnati Sanctuary and Solidarity Coalition. Since then, we have become involved in important immigration efforts in the Cincinnati area. These include assisting in the MAARC ID card drive, becoming a part of existing immigration rights organizations and as a Solidarity Congregation, supporting the Clifton United Methodist Church as they develop their space and become a Sanctuary.
